The calendula (Calendula Officinalis flower extract) is extracted from the flowered
extremities of the homonymous plant. It is widely used in the phytocosmetics for its nutrient
and protective properties and for its lenitive, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action. In
cream, it speeds up the healing in cases of sunburns, burns, sores, little wounds, abrasion and
chilblains. The calendula properties are a real cure-all for eczemas, acne, dermatitis and dry,
cracked and reddened skin. This cream is also enriched by the presence of the bisabolol and
sunflower oil. The bisabolol is similar to azulene, the main component of the chamomile, well
known for its lenitive, anti-inflammation, anti-bacterial and healing properties, while the
sunflower oil feed and moisturize the skin, representing a valid help against the skin aging
and in the treatment of acne and eczemas. The presence of allantoin and lecithin improves the
lenitive action of this preparation, making it particularly recommended for the sensitive skin
of children and elderly people.
